Exhibits an ability to translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders
Identifies and remains current on market trends. Determines product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
Understands methods available to execute primary research (VOC) that are necessary to drive portfolio/ product decisions. Can identify market opportunities through VOC/secondary research and takes action by implementing and managing solutions that meet customer needs.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building a business & marketing plan this includes identifying the appropriate channels to market. Has the ability to understand market trends and competitive positioning.
Demonstrates strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Understands and can demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to pricing, deal structure and assessing financial implications.
Works effectively across cross functional groups including but not limited to IT, communications, operations, and sales.
Develop marketing strategy to rebrand/reposition the Women in Pharmacy (WIP) Initiative and multi-year tactical plan grow the community, in partnership with industry organizations. (Women in Pharmacy is a Cardinal Health initiative designed to support and encourage women to become pharmacy owners and entrepreneurs.) Develop content for digital channels, provide event management support and grow partnerships with pharmacy schools. Support launch and drive customer adoption of Cardinal Health™ Pharmacy Marketing Advantage, and serve as product leader for In-Store Radio/On-Hold Messaging solution.
Serve as program manager for Women in Pharmacy (WIP) initiative, managing digital communications/social media channels, database/contact management, event management, PR/outreach, partnerships and engagement with Advisory Board. Develop marketing strategy, messaging and tactical plan to rebrand Women in Pharmacy in light of proliferation of similar programs, and elevated focus on gender parity.
Manage the Retail Independent Scholarship program, serving as liaison to participating Pharmacy Schools, as well as ISF leaders. Oversee annual process of identifying and communicating with winners, and planning ownership “boot camp” sponsored by Cardinal Health.
Assist in the ongoing launch of Pharmacy Marketing Advantage (PMA), and transition of Local Store Marketing customers to the new solution.
Develop strategy and tactical plan to drive growth of In-Store Radio/On-Hold Messaging solution as an extension of the PMA digital platform.
Serve on cross-functional campaign management team to develop processes, drive pilots and launch campaigns across PMA, in-store radio, Pharmacy Health Network and other direct-to-patient channels.
Support Community Health Center (CHC) team, creating marketing toolkits (in partnership with Creative team) for the launch Cardinal Health-owned pharmacies in CHC’s across the country.
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
4+ years experience in related field, preferred.
5+ years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management preferred
Project management expertise preferred
Web /digital marketing/social media management experience preferred
