What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks
  • Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity
  • Identifies possbile solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve
  • Applies judgment within defined parameters
  • Receives general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects
  • Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Accountabilities in this role:

  • Telephonic nursing care; patient compliance and persistancy
  • Inbound and outbound calls to patients on behalf of the pharmaceutical manufacturer in support of one or more pharmaceutical products
  • Facilitate all aspects of clinical support encompassed in the Pharmacovigilance program
  • Typical schedule: Monday-Friday first shift, on-call rotation every 4-5 weeks during off-business hours, weekends and holidays (additional compensation for on-call)

Qualifications:

  • Undergrad preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 5 years of nursing experience in clinical and hospital setting; pediatric and adult, preferred
  • Valid Texas RN license and able to obtain additional State Licenses within one year of employment (expense reimbursed by the company)
  • Certified Case Manager preferred
  • Previous experience with Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Trials preferred
  • Experience in Telehealth Nursing preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with adverse event reporting and use of a drug safety database preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish (not mandatory)
