What you will be accountable for…

The Marketing Associate is an eager, detail-oriented marketing generalist. The marketing associate will assist with day-to-day operations and special initiatives, working closely with everyone on the team and with various tools and applications to support thought leadership, content development, public relations and social media campaigns.

  • Manage and update editorial calendar to track speaking opportunities, press interviews, webinars, blog posts, etc.
  • Manage the naviHealth Essential Insights website to support thought leadership and content strategies
  • Manage email campaign for weekly newsletter; assist with developing campaign content; load and test content and email lists, send mass emails through our email marketing software
  • Stay up-to-date on healthcare IT news and current events to drive fresh content ideas
  • Assist with content development and planning as needed
  • Work with external vendors and partners to manage various projects and deliverables
  • Support public relations initiatives such as media requests, events and scheduling
  • Help to plan and execute key industry and corporate events; attend events as feet on the street where needed. May require travel
  • Assist social media efforts by scheduling and tracking posts, as well as conducting social media market and competitor research
  • Contribute to various other projects, as assigned and as needed

What you will need to be successful in this role…

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications; demonstrated interest in healthcare marketing a plus
  • 1 – 3 years of prior work experience or college internship experience required
  • Familiarity with web-based tools and platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Twitter, LinkedIn, Wordpress. Hootsuite)
  • Professional aptitude and degree of comfort representing the company on the phone and on social media platforms
  • Demonstrated success at coming up to speed quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel 15-20% as needed for events
