Job Title: Manufacturing Lead
Works with Manufacturing Supervisors & Superintendents to prioritize staffing assignments to Operating standards and Net Requirements are met.
Coordinate work assignments based on production schedules and material availability, supervise manufacturing associates to ensure safe and secure working environment and drive 6S initiatives.
Monitor machine efficiencies and report any downtime, malfunction and processes operating below standard to Manufacturing Supervisors & Superintendents or designated individuals for course of action.
Ensures designated department equipment is calibrated in accordance with written procedures.
Assist Manufacturing Supervisor and Quality Assurance department non-conforming products documentation, investigation and closure activities.
Assist Manufacturing Supervisor with the daily Labor Reconciliation process, ensuring that all direct labor is accounted for.
Be available to respond to line clearances, non-conforming product containment and/or other work stoppage issues.
Maintains manufacturing specifications and process documentation and ensures compliance with CGMP regulations, ISO, FDA, OSHA safety regulations and company human resources policies.
Provides personnel guidance consistent with company human resources policies.
Responsible to observe department's safety regulations and to use personal protective equipment as required.
