What QRA Management contributes to Cardinal Health

QRA Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction over multiple job families or areas of expertise within the QRA function.


  • Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8+ years experience in related field, preferred, including 2 years supervisory experience

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Manage day-to-day Quality Control functions including
    • Quality Control: scheduling of inspections, line support and testing
    • Document Control: management of all pertinent data bases
  • Manage day-to-day Reliability Testing functions including scheduling of tests and lab availability
  • Manage the control and maintenance of Cardinal Health’s records and documentation; this includes off-site storage of archived records and documentation
  • Manage Lot History record review and release activities
  • Recruit, hire, develop/supervise and train Quality Control and Document Control personnel including performance reviews in accordance with Departmental and Corporate practices
  • Define, communicate and enforce quality policies with particular emphasis on compliance to the company’s Quality System and external regulatory standards
  • Coordinate functions and activities between departments. Determine responsibilities and procedures for ensuring that this function is performed effectively and objectives are achieved
  • Participate and assist in the formulation and establishment of organizational policies and quality procedures for the Quality Control department
  • Budgeting, planning and resource evaluation
  • Interface with internal constituents and external regulatory bodies regarding compliance needs as required
  • Creating, reviewing and approving new documents or modifications to existing documents as required supporting the Quality Control and Document Control functions
  • Participate in process and systems improvements with project teams as required
  • Meet with production management on regular basis and support goals outlined in the company’s operating plan
