Job Title: Manager, Program Management - Supply Chain Strategy Project Manager

The Supply Chain Strategy Project Manager (SCSPM) is a P4 manager-level position within the Supply Chain Strategy consulting and project management team. The PM is anticipated to be deployed to billable customer projects 80% of the year (approximately 40 weeks).

A Supply Chain Strategy Project Manager will provide oversight for and perform tasks associated with improving customer’s inventory management practices. Projects vary in length, from one week to greater than 12 months, and typically require travel to customer locations Monday through Thursdays weekly.

A key requirement for this role is to conduct business dealings with customers in a way that creates a superior customer experience, starting with initial introductions through project completion. Commitment to deadlines and outcomes is critical.


The successful SCSPM is a skilled project manager and team leader, has knowledge of hospital supply chains in all areas of the hospital, is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, is well organized, and is comfortable and experienced in contacting and conversing with senior business executives, clinicians and inventory technicians. A successful SCSPM will possess a demonstrated ability to develop strong business relationships, have a collaborative approach in a team environment, possess strong interpersonal and communicative skills and hold themselves accountable to the highest level of standards.

Lean Six Sigma Certification or PMP Certification a plus.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates depth and breadth of project management experience
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and relevant clinical and IT operations
  • Manages implementation projects independently in a more complex environment
  • Facilitates strategic decisions to optimize implementation projects specific to the management of scope, financials and schedule
  • Anticipates project risks and develops mitigation strategies/plans for more complex risk factors
  • Serves as resource and/or mentor to team and less experienced project managers
  • Presents and communicates projects to senior level business management
  • Resolves conflicts across project team members and customers without functional intervention
  • Influences internal and external customer expectations so ensure that expectations are aligned


Qualifications:

  • Undergrad required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 6-8 years of experience in related field
  • Must provide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs must include: Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis
