This role is responsible for building market opportunity assessments, forecasts and product valuation models, based on data collection from market research, industry reports and internal subject matter experts, to evaluate the impact of a new product launch, partnership or acquisition opportunity.
Background: Ideal candidate would have investment banking and/or management consulting background.
Previous experience in healthcare preferred; strong interest in healthcare essential
Prior experience in advanced valuation modeling strongly preferred
Ability to manage large complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity
Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to build out a business case
Thorough knowledge of business development practices
Excellent project management skills
Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
Strong leadership skills and strategic problem solving
Experience with market research, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence.
Cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, sales, BI&A and Business Development team; builds strategic alliances and broad-based support and/or persuades others to meet business goals.
Highly proficient in Excel modeling; ability to build graphs and develop PowerPoint presentations to articulate business recommendations to senior leadership.
Identify and use industry reports, competitive intelligence and market research to guide business strategy.
Build market opportunity assessments, forecasts and product valuation models, based on data collection from market research, industry reports and internal subject matter experts, to evaluate the impact of a new product launch, partnership or acquisition opportunity, and prioritize business development opportunities.
Support the marketing team with analysis related to the NPS product and services portfolio and segmentation.
Develop and launch a market research and competitive intelligence strategy in collaboration with the Cardinal Health Center of Excellence.
Build tear sheets on products including disease state background, market landscape, competing modalities, product valuation and forecasting
