What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health
Quality control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
Demonstrates detailed oriented attention in all facets of responsibilities.
Performs analytical evaluation or test of products or processes.
Demonstrates knowledge of testing methods, product usage, and applicable regulations and standards.
Adheres to established policies and procedures.
Establishes test methodology.
Provides technical guidance and training to others on SOPs and quality guidelines.
HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience, preferred
4+ years of experience in related field, preferred

Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignments
Demonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibility
Takes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignments
May provide technical guidance and training to others
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issue
Makes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementation
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works with minimal degree of supervision. Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelines
Provides guidance to less experienced team members
May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise
Cover standard production operations as well as validation and experimental test efforts in non-controlled and controlled (clean room environments).
Collaborate with cross functional team members across many disciplines including Receiving, Materials, Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence.
Gather samples and perform inspection / testing to determine acceptability. Such testing may include environmental testing.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
Create, follow and maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, work instructions and specifications; in non-controlled and controlled (clean room) environments.
