What is expected of you and others at this level in Clinical Operations Funcation for functional success

This position requires leadership and problem solving capabilities. The Team lead is responsible for monitoring daily workflow, handling first level escalation calls, provide assistance to Management, and develop employee knowledge and skill set through monitoring and quality review of telephone calls and documentation of work. This individual must poses the ability to process new and existing patients through every aspect of patient administration. Customer service is highly emphasized.

Accountabilities in this role

  • Responsible for enforcing workflow by monitoring daily activities and shared folders.
  • Responsible for handling inbound calls when need arises and have the ability to determine needs and handle accordingly using communications provided by manager.
  • Assist manager in any job duties to help run department productively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for assisting all coordinators with questions associated with the program.
  • Be knowledgeable in daily operations.
  • Responsible for conducting Quality reviews and Audits of all coordinators.
  • Ability to create policies and procedures and also keep updated on policy or procedural changes.
  • Ability to resolve escalated I and II calls unless further action is required by manager.
  • Ability to properly utilize all systems for maximum efficiencies and monitoring work flow.
  • Ability to keep to assigned work hours. Regular attendance is an essential element of the job.
  • Comply with all company policies.
  • Keep a clean, orderly, and safe work station.
  • Any other duties assigned by management


  • Two years college and/or 2-4 years related experience and/or training desired; Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience should include knowledge of practices and procedures commonly used within a particular field.
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
