We currently have a full-time career position opening for a IT Risk Customer Manager.

The primary responsibility of this role is to collaborate with a variety of Cardinal Health business units in order to address the requirements and needs that are established by our customers. Customer requirements include the completion of IT risk assessments, third party certification assistance / guidance, providing direction on remediation procedures, and collaborating with the customer to address anything third party IT related risks.

This is a high-visibility position that is anticipated to grow as demands from our customers continue to increase. This individual is required to quickly learn the various Cardinal Health business units, understand a wide array of IT controls/risks, work autonomously and to escalate issues as they are encountered in order to meet timelines set forth by the customer. Ability to effectively work in a variety of challenging environments is critical in achieving success for the role.

IT Risk and Compliance Management is responsible for identifying and quantifying IT risk factors, and for managing and measuring compliance to the controls that mitigate these risks.

  • Identifies, analyzes, monitors and minimizes areas of risk that pertain to information technology.
  • Analyzes business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of IT regulatory requirements and applies a risk-based approach to interpret and comply to these requirements.
  • Provides assurance that quality and risks are effectively addressed in relation to information systems and processes.
  • Coordinates the IT component of both internal and external audits and federal and state examinations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with leaders at all levels within the organization, an ability to work in a matrixed environment to drive results, and the ability to clearly define and execute repeatable processes.

  • Proven prior risk management, public accounting, and/or auditing experience desired. CISA and/or CISSP is a plus.
  • Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience in related field preferred
