What Healthcare Data Project Management contributes to Fuse by Cardinal Health
Our Healthcare Data Project Manager plays a key/critical role at Fuse by Cardinal Health in realizing business value through the application of project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project objectives specifically related to data analytics, data ingestion and data lake / big data architecture implementation.
Demonstrates knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes.
Understands the elements of building data analytics systems including data extraction / ingestion tools and techniques, data transformation and loading.
Understands modern software development techniques (agile, scrum, XP, kanban) and how to manage projects utilizing these processes
Experience with cloud based infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, Salesforce.com, etc.) and managing projects utilizing them
Monitors performance and recommends scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments
connects short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case.
Prioritizes multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
communicates project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders in an open and honest fashion.
Effectively balances competing workstreams including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.
Provides input to contracts, reviews contracts to ensure completeness of scope and appropriate accountability based on role and/or responsibility.
Negotiates with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful project execution.
Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
8+ years experience in related field preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products preferred
Experience managing big data architecture projects/programs
