The Engineer, Software Engineering, SAP opportunity will be responsible for supporting the Record to Report and Indirect Procure to Pay functionality within SAP S4/HANA. This position will be supporting International Finance and Accounting ERP systems used by Cardinal Health.
Functional support of SAP S4/HANA, an ERP tool used by Cordis International
Build out enhancements as required by the business in the Indirect PTP and RTR functional areas
Understand configurations and coding within SAP
Responsible for gathering requirements and the creation of functional specification documents
Work through the SDLC lifecycle
Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks in order to meet SLA’s in accordance to urgency of open cases
Integrate banking solutions into the ERP system
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the business and technical developers
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
4+ years experience in related field preferred
Working knowledge of two or more technologies preferred
Understanding of ERP solutions ideally SAP
Ability to understand how to work through configurations within SAP
Strong financial understanding and the ability to support RTR and PTP related activities
Strong understanding of FICO
Experience within accounting and or finance along with any background in banking integrations
Hands on experience gathering requirements and creating functional specs
Ability to navigate through the SDLC process
Must be flexible to support global clients
Strong communication skills

Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives.
Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.
