What Strategic Planning/ Execution contributes to Cardinal Health

Strategic Planning/Execution is responsible for developing and supporting the realization of strategic plans and management agendas

Accountabilities in this role

  • Identifies, develops and implements strategic initiatives focused on the long-term growth of Independence Medical
  • Serves as the expert on the HME/DME provider space and medical supplies market to identify adjacencies and growth opportunities
  • Implements disciplined project management processes that ensures flawless execution of strategic initiatives
  • Works cross-functionally between sales, marketing, sourcing and other functions to ensure overall alignment to business objectives
  • Serves as a core member of the Independence Medical senior management team

Qualifications

  • BS/BA Business or equivalent
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 5 -8 years in related industry (market research, strategy, business development) with ability to multi-task
  • Healthcare experience preferred, particularly in post-acute or DME
  • Strong understanding of MS Office applications, internet search engines, proprietary databases and website management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills experience working with upper-level management
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% if not based in Twinsburg
