What Inventory Mgmt Director contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management Director is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and forecasting process, supply chain logistics, new product deployment process and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization models to minimize costs and inventory levels while delivering on service level requirements.

Accountabilities

  • Leads all supply chain activities at Cardinal Health Distribution Center for Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and USVI in support of pharmaceutical and medical business segment
  • Responsible of sourcing, supplier management, forecasting, and inbound/export logistics
  • Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical/surgical products. Analyzes business trends
  • Manage P&L and business forecast (Budget)
  • Develop best practices for vendors contract administration, and deal closure
  • Participate in collective strategic planning across all lines of the PR organization – (Sales, Product, Operations, and Account Management)

Qualifications

  • BA degree in Business Administration or relate
  • MBA in Finance is preferred
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Supply Chain or Strategic Role
  • Must be fully bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Strong Leadership and Communication skills verbal and written
  • Previous experience managing diverse teams
  • Previous Operational Excellence experience a plus
