As a member of the engineering organization, you are responsible for Quality strategy, planning and execution against our Reporting module. What you will be accountable for….

  • Collaborate with BI developers and product managers on delivery of reporting initiatives.
  • Creation of reporting and analytic solutions within the development of new, or existing, Business Intelligence solutions
  • Creation of PL/SQL packages, complex stored procedures, partitioned tables, ad hoc queries.
  • Perform query tuning and assist reporting engineers in designing and performance tuning their queries.
  • Assist the Senior Data Warehouse Engineer on their day to day activities
  • Extract data from disparate sources and transform into internal formats for loading into our platform.
  • Perform technical analysis and requirements definition with our partners on service integrations.
  • Work as a part of an Agile team to implement product enhancements.

What you will need to be successful……

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in documenting data analysis results including source to target mapping of databases.
  • Good understanding of Data Modelling and Star Schemas.
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Profiling concepts and processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and business writing skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities to take complex, ambiguous, abstract requirements and break them into smaller components, patterns, views and features.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences
  • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal communication and business writing skills.

The nice to haves……

  • Experience with SHAREPLEX
  • Experience with ORACLE
