Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts, instructional design theory, and measurement and evaluation methods.
Partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to conduct needs analysis to gather the information necessary to build effective web-based training solutions.
Selects instructional techniques that meet the needs of multiple learning modalities and sequences instructional content in storyboards.
Uses in-depth knowledge of graphics, audio, video editing, animation, programing languages, and e-learning authoring software programs to develop and deliver interactive training experiences.
Follows Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions while partnering with members of the Learning Technologies Team to add and maintain training onto the learning management system. Once added, manages content as necessary.
Influences web-based instructional design standards that adhere to branding guidelines and provide a visually-engaging experience to learners.
Partners with external vendors to ensure programs/products meet requirements and objectives.

Applies all phases of the instructional design process to create scalable, global, leadership and interpersonal skill learning products including:
Manages instructional design projects using project management processes, templates and tools
Creates multimedia learning products and or edits existing learning products for global audiences including but not limited to:
Synchronous web based training/virtual instructor led training
Asynchronous self-paced web based training
Performance support tools
Owns all aspects of the videos creation process for the department including:
Shooting raw footage using a variety of equipment including camera, gimbal stabilizer, etc.
Editing, compressing, syncing, and exporting video/audio
Working with translators to add subtitles/dubbing in other languages
Optimizing video for deployment via the enterprise learning management system
Applies expertise in graphic design to create print and multimedia learning products and marketing/communication materials for the department
Establishes and maintain relationships with other learning professionals within the global enterprise
Establishes relationships with trusted external learning vendor partners
Maintains expertise in best-in-class technology-based learning creation tools
Applies knowledge of learning management system requirements when creating learning products and working with the learning technologies team to deploy them
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
4+ years’ experience in related field, preferred.
Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information
Expertise using Articulate Storyline
Experience using the following software preferred:
Adobe Creative Suite esp. Photoshop and PremierePro
Sony Soundforge or equivalent
Ability to use audio/video equipment and editing software strongly preferred
Experience performing a similar role in global, multinational company a plus
Experience in cGMP regulated business environment preferred
