The Learning Function is responsible for building organizational capability that supports business strategy and employee development by analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating learning solutions.
Instructional Design & Development is responsible for creating and implementing blended learning solutions.
Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts, instructional design theory, and measurement and evaluation methods.
Consults with business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify performance needs and recommend solutions.
Evaluates and measures instructional solutions to gauge effectiveness.
Partners with external vendors to ensure programs/products meet requirements and objectives.
Uses e-learning authoring software programs to develop and deliver interactive training experiences.
Follows Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions while partnering with members of the Learning Technologies Team to add, administer and maintain training in the learning management system.

What is expected of you and others at this level:

Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Performs training department operations management activities that drive department efficiency; makes suggestions for continuous process improvements
Owns large complex global leadership and employee development (HR) training program management and administration
Assists team members in integrating newly merged or acquired global companies/employees into department processes and technologies and develop learning collateral for these newly acquired employees
Serves as the administrator for department document organization, storage, and publishing
Manages department projects using project management processes, templates and tools
Writes processes and procedures for the Enterprise Learning department; assists in globalizing department processes for locations outside of the US
Assists in creation and distribution of marketing and communication collateral for the Enterprise Learning department including ownership of department web and SharePoint pages
Owns management and administration of external learning vendor accounts
Assists in developing, capturing, analyzing and publishing department KPIs and metrics
Applies all phases of the instructional design process to create learning products including:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
4+ years’ experience in related field, preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to synthesize and simplify complex information
Experience managing large, complex, global projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook required
Experience using the following software preferred:
Microsoft Project or equivalent
Experience performing a similar role in global, multinational company a plus
Experience with learning management systems preferred
Experience in cGMP regulated business environment preferred
