We currently have two full-time career openings for a Agile Java Developer on our Digital Marketing team.

Team Overview

The Agile Java Developer will be one of the members of a scrum team that is responsible for delivering digital marketing capabilities like web content management, experience management, web analytics and digital asset management for the corporate websites.

The team leverages solutions like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Adobe Dynamic Tag Management (DTM) to deliver these capabilities.

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Work and thrive in a collaborative development environment following the Agile Scrum practices including ATDD/BDD
  • Follow the test then code approach
  • Translate the AEM functional specifications and AEM authoring-related user stories to AEM components that deliver the expected authoring experience
  • Translate the UX wireframes and/or visual designs and/or UI design and user stories to actual AEM templates/components code that will produce reusable visual elements of the web properties
  • Work with other developers and testers to design, develop and implement and test changes through ATDD
  • Work with other members of the team to ensure tasks are completed on schedule, conduct code reviews, maintain code quality, and troubleshoot defects
  • Optimize the application code for maximum speed and stability
  • Support sprint, sanity and integration testing
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of new solutions with the ability to understand the impact and analyze the risk
  • Assist in development of standards, methodology and repeatable processes
  • Develop clean, standards based, modern code with an emphasis on advocacy toward end-users
  • Maintain a proficient knowledge of AEM, Adobe DTM, Java, JavaScript and associated web technologies like HTML5 and CSS3


The following skills are required:

  • Proven working experience in Java-based web application development in an agile environment.

The following are not required but a major plus.

  • Good understanding of ATDD/BDD
  • Working experience in unit testing frameworks (like JUnit, Mockito, JMock)
  • Working experience with code control using version control systems like GIT
  • Proficient understanding and working experience of JavaScript frameworks like jQuery
  • Preferred: Working experience with AEM and Adobe DTM
  • Preferred: Working experience with integration of AEM with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
  • Preferred: Working experience with JIRA
  • Preferred: Working experience of ATDD/BDD using Cucumber
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar
