What Account Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Account Management is responsible for maintaining/growing current relationships, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, gross profit growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts for wound care and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy products.
Responsible for calling on High and Medium potential accounts monthly
Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals in the market
Promoting our solutions to the customer base in your market
Identifying new opportunities in your market and within existing accounts
Understanding the Insurance landscape in your market and deliver Edgepark as a valued partner
Proactively and with regular cadence demonstrate to the customer the defined value of partnering with Edgepark
Identify and qualify new opportunities and develop plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships
Collaborate with manufacture partners
Interacts on a daily basis with healthcare professionals and trouble shoots day to day challenges such as supply issues or ordering
Work well with peers to share best practices
Meeting predetermined targets for your region
Bachelor’s degree required
Min 5+ years' sales experience - healthcare industry preferred
Ability to travel up to 25% of time
Proven knowledge in the business area

Making a dose and getting it to the patient in a timely manner is exhilarating. Every day that I make my commit times I feel I am making a difference. I also enjoy working on the investigational drug trials. Being a part of the process for a drug coming to market and knowing I had a hand in it is very fulfilling.
