Pharmaceutical manufacturers are increasingly relying on Cardinal Health to provide data insights and innovative technology solutions that improve the overall experience and outcomes for patients, providers, and physicians. Additionally, leveraging analytics as a means of demonstrating evidence of value has become vital for drugs, particularly in the specialty space.

We are seeking a highly experienced Pharma professional to serve as a Key Account Manager (KAM) with our team in Lewisville, in the rapidly evolving fields of analytics, healthcare IT, and pharmaceutical logistics. The KAM, will use their rich healthcare domain expertise, experience in project management, and proactive consulting skills to solve complex technical challenges for some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the country. To our clients, this individual will be an expert in combining our technology platform and solutions with their programs to provide maximum benefit to their business and patients. Internally to Cardinal, the KAM will serve as the voice of the client, and relay client feedback to continuously improve our services. Someone with excellent consulting and customer-facing experience will be responsible for overseeing all parts of the technical direction, vendor integration, business processes and delivery of services to these clients.


Accountabilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for the client and act as the conduit for all communication to internal resources related to all aspects of the program.
  • Provide weekly status and coordination to client including, but not limited to, the project pipeline, in-flight project status, and issue tracking and resolution.
  • Assist in third party vendor communication/coordination to support ongoing operational process and project requests.
  • Analyze and recommend technical solutions related to new product launches, product discontinuations, vendor integrations, and operational efficiencies among other potential services.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals and recommend new practices, processes, metrics, or models
  • Act as technical project manager on project requests.
  • Coordinate, assist, and communicate issue tracking and defect remediation including escalation to client.
  • Recommend technical changes/updates/enhancements to current platform and vendor integration landscape to further align with client’s strategy and industry advancements.
  • Build relationships with internal business owners such as information technology, the HUB, and pharmacy to help streamline processes and write statements of work while assisting in determining level of priority for project work.
  • Prepare and assist with presenting quarterly business review meetings and provide technology updates and statistics as input to the process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in professional services, healthcare, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience working in a Specialty Pharmaceutical HUB environment required
  • Strong project management skills in an agile delivery environment with Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly preferred
  • Polished oral and written communication skills, with executive facing presentation experience and ability to alter communication for varying audiences.
  • Consultative communication approach with the ability to design creative solutions while building strong relationships
  • Proven ability to learn an application of advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
  • Highly organized and ability to collaborate to leverage resources and capabilities across teams
  • Detail oriented and ability to detect inconsistencies
  • Innovative and a problem solver with the ability to view solutions from an enterprise wide perspective
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to execute on multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, results-orientated work environment.
  • Strategic with an ability to “roll up” their sleeves
  • Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
  • Ability to travel 15% of time
