Technical Product Owner

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our expanding Commercial Technology team in Lewisville, TX. The role will align with one or multiple scrum teams to ensure product development with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry background and extensive Agile and client-facing expertise.

Accountabilities for the Senior Product Owner

  • Work with one or multiple scrum teams daily to prioritize backlogs
  • Attend daily scrums
  • Create user stories
  • Interact with external customers to define requirements and features
  • Exhibit excellent presentation skills to define products and workflows to external customers

What Commercial Technology contributes to Cardinal Health

Commercial Technology - Engineering is responsible for leading the elicitation of detailed requirements from subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to define epics, features and detailed stories that are sufficient to enable efficient and predictable delivery. This team demonstrates expert elicitation practices that drive out details regarding user needs and workflow to enable effective solutions that delight users. This team maintains a strong relationship with the Product Owner, subject matter experts and key stakeholders by leveraging engineering requirements, practices and methods to define solutions to ensure products enable desired value.


  • Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years' experience in related field
  • Expert in Agile development techniques
  • Able to co-locate with the development team or business partners/SMEs
