What Sales Admin/Ops Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Sales Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Sales Operations function

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the production of proposals based on client's RFPs which vary in complexity and monetary value
  • Oversee coordination of contracts through the legal process – review and approval (Confidentiality Agreements and Master Services Agreements)
  • Review draft and final project proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Coordination of project details (scope and budget) to program leads and project management
  • Analyze reports from internal database and SalesForce, as needed, and provide updates to senior leadership
  • Distribute and communicate cost estimate materials within defined deadlines
  • Define ownership at all levels for the deliverable
  • Attention to detail within RFPs and making sure the client's specifications are assessed. Quality matters.
  • Interact with different business areas and various levels of management to complete proposals
  • Coordinate meetings with business development, proposals, therapeutic experts, and other functional business areas to gather information in order to complete the proposal
  • Follow-up with outstanding tasks
  • Assemble project assumptions and create budget estimates
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, finance or accounting or related field
  • 2 years of previous supervisory or management experience, highly preferred
  • Experience in developing people and leading teams preferred
  • 5 years’ minimum experience in CRO or similar contracts/proposal position, highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and clients in a consistent professional manner.
  • Strong organizational development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a diverse group of individuals located in multiple locations.
  • Experience with leading process improvements (e.g. lean six sigma) (preferred).
  • Proven ability to identify and define problems.
  • Proven ability to draw appropriate conclusions; propose solutions and/or correct actions.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work and manage projects in a timely and effective manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage different types of complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Strong ability to manage through change and conflict resolution.
  • Strong financial and general business management experience to create project budgets for client RFPs.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
