What National Markets – Acute contributes to Cardinal Health

National Markets - Acute is responsible managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of acute care IDN customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health.


  • Will work closely with field sales, customer service, implementation, contracts, operations, inventory, accounts payable/disputes for problem resolution and project identification between the customer and Cardinal Health
  • Takes pro-active approach in preventing customer issues
  • Support the core account management team with QBR/reporting needs as well as identifying, quantifying, qualifying, tracking and evaluating customer pain points
  • Participate in process improvement projects, SOP/BDP identification and replication throughout customer base as required
  • Assist with data collection, reporting and analysis to support initiatives and basic business needs for set of customers
  • Utilize performance measurement tools to track and sustain continuous improvement
  • Role will be 70% tactical and 30% project work


  • Has demonstrated experience within Cardinal Health in one or more of the following functional areas: customer service, sales, inventory, contracts and pricing, operations, or customer relationship management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations/information in professional manner
  • Ability to work across multiple functional areas to enhance the customer experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years experience
  • Strong communication skills
