Why Is This Role Critical?
The Sr. Manager of Clinical Development for Legacy naviHealth products provides direction and management of training for clinical staff.   This position is also responsible for working with field clinical managers to develop and staff all Preceptor, Mentor, and Clinical Coach needs.  Training will be delivered in a variety of mediums including but not limited to:  electronic, in person, and remote.  The Sr. Manager of Clinical Development functions as a liaison between Clinical Education and the clinical users in the field and is responsible to stay up to date on all product enhancements, modifications and work instructions associated with all nH decision support technology.  This Sr. Manager functions with a high degree of autonomy.   

What you will be accountable for….

  • Designs, develops, facilitates, and delivers clinical and corporate training programs across multiple users and locations, for both new and existing staff.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of training programs for new and existing colleagues.
  • Manages all Preceptor, Mentor, and Clinical Coach processes and staff (dotted/matrix relationship).
  • Provides pre- and post-training support to participants as needed.
  • Functions independently and autonomously in executing a wide variety of training initiatives. 
  • Conducts needs assessments to identify system and work flow training needs.  
  • Effectively functions in a Matrix reporting model – Interfaces and collaborates with leaders and colleagues across the Enterprise
  • Utilizes creative and adaptive teaching techniques to accommodate adult learning needs.

    What you will need to be successful……

    • A Bachelor's Degree, Master’s preferred, in Nursing, Physical Therapy or other related Health Care Field.
    • 7+ years' experience in an acute care, post-acute care and/or managed care or social services environment, at least two years’ recent experience in training development/delivery, and at least two years’ experience in people management.
    • naviHealth business acumen and/or recognition as a nH Subject Matter Expert preferred
    • Working knowledge of current training development and delivery mediums and technologies
    • Excellent communication, presentation, written and technical skills required
    • Ability to independently plan, organize and prioritize work
    • Strong process and people management skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to effectively engage with all levels of the client organization
    • Limited overnight travel may be required
