Rep, Account- Medical Device Specialist

The Inside Sales- Medical Device department works with various manufacturer and vendor partners to receive and process orders daily. The orders are worked full scope with in our team; including communications with insurance companies, patients/caretakers, physicians, and referral partners. The team is measured on various metrics with a focus around achieving conversion % goals. We work with in a fast-paced environment as well as a team atmosphere. This larger team dynamic allows for individuals to learn about related products and processes outside of their own product category.

What Inside Sales contributes to Cardinal Health

Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and existing customers. The sales cycles will tend to be simple and short-term in nature and may or may not lead to a long term customer relationship.

Job Summary

This role requires communication with Manufacturer and Vendor partners to coordinate patient care.  Goals based on ability to receive referrals and process to completion. Includes inbound fax entry, diagnosis review, ability to check medical documentation for qualifying necessity, discuss coverage detail directly to patient, and work with nurses/home health care to obtain clinicals when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Min 2 years sales experience
  • Ability to travel less than 25% of time
  • Valid driver's license
