What Account Management - Med Prod contributes to Cardinal Health

Account Management is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Group Purchasing Organizations, etc). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of sales experience required
  • Experience working in healthcare/medical sales or DME experience preferred
  • Ability to travel less than 25% of time
  • Valid driver's license

Accountabilities

  • The RAM position is in charge of managing between 200 and 400 accounts within assigned territory.
  • Demonstrate a strong foundation of inside sales experience and knowledge of the medical industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers. Follow-up on leads and drive business forward.
  • Demonstrate clear and professional communication abilities, both written and verbal (especially via phone).
