The Product Marketing Manager for Sustainable Technologies will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a competitive product and service portfolio to address the shift in health care market from single patient use to reprocessed devices. This individual will need to ensure the ST portfolio and its associated value proposition is compatible with customer and business requirements to achieve global financial targets. 

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Working directly with cross functional teams on manufacturing/operations related activities, service and quality inquiries, logistics (forecasting, backorders, discontinuations), and commercial life cycle management projects.
  • Identifying new product and service growth opportunities through a strong working knowledge of the Cardinal Health portfolio, market trends, competitive behavior, and customer segments.
  • Preparing business plans to gain internal support and resources for strategic initiatives to drive revenue and accelerate the growth of the Cardinal Health ST portfolio.
  • Analyzing forecast and demand numbers to understand impact of strategic decisions on the ST margin profile.
  • Collaborating with counterparts in commercial marketing to develop and execute on the tactical marketing plan for ST to ensure the sales and margin performance goals of the business are achieved.
  • Developing a value proposition that positions the ST portfolio appropriately, resonates with customers, and differentiates Cardinal Health within the marketplace.
  • Creating training materials to enhance the sales team’s ability to properly position ST and close business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; a MBA is preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in Medical Sales and/or Marketing
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, driven individual to meet objectives
  • Strong analytical skills allowing for quick assessment of situations, trade-offs and ability to recommend appropriate course of action
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while managing multiple projects and day to day responsibilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the time, which may include some nights and weekends
