Pricing Analyst

Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the Tenders and Pricing team on a full-time, 6 months contract to start as soon as possible.

The primary goal of the role is to assist in the timely and successful implementation of pricing and contract related details to ensure the success of Cardinal Health Canada in servicing our customers.

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for review, analysis and updates to pricing in the ERP system for Cardinal Health Canada, as well as the review of contract/tender documents linked to pricing. The successful candidate will also play a key role in defining, optimizing and implementing process improvement initiatives within the team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure that product pricing is updated in our systems in an accurate and timely fashion so that both internal and external customers always have accurate and current pricing at their fingertips
  • Ownership and accountability of setup, maintenance and integrity of pricing data linked to pricing agreements and contracts for assigned accounts
  • Planning, coordination and execution of pricing changes in the ERP system
  • Updating and maintaining the systems with all the relevant data including pricing and rebates for assigned accounts
  • Working with cross functional teams in continuous process and system improvement projects
  • Creating and managing project plans with weekly progress updates to management.

EDUCATION/TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset
  • Post-secondary education preferred with a minimum of two years related experience;
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • PC and systems knowledge (including MS Office and JDE)
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Medical products and terminology
  • Report writing proficiency
  • Understanding of contract terminology and ability to analyze complex documents
  • Ability to manage priorities and diverse task.
