Inbound Transportation Analyst

Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking for an Inbound Transportation Analyst for an immediate need within our Mississauga location. This position is responsible to manage the inbound transportation network as its prime function to the National Transportation team. The selected candidate will work with the incumbent Carriers to implement system changes and enhancements that drive process change and cost savings. Key contact for Carrier interfaces and data exchanges between our businesses and service providers.

              Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Inbound Transportation network and incumbent partners  
  • Monitor, report, audit and analyse carrier partners compliancy and performance
  • Maintain Carrier(s) KPI’s and measure for continuous improvements
  • Conduct RFP data collection and analysis from various Transport organizations.
  • Work with supply chain stakeholders to route critical and special delivery shipments to customers and regional Distribution centers.

    Experience and Knowledge

  • 3-5 years related Transportation experience
  • Knowledge of international shipping and geography (OTR, Ocean, Intermodal, Air)
  • Advance level in MS Office applications and JDE
  • Strong analytical and business skills
  • Proven leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Project Management experience required
  • Team-oriented, committed, driven, assertive, curious and self-directed.
  • Skills in analyzing activities, interpreting operating results and developing solutions, to help drive profitability and shipping lane efficiencies
  • Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills, adaptable to change and able to reprioritize on short-notice.
