Global Portfolio Manager - Specialty Products

What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

The Global Product Manager is responsible for facilitating marketing support to regional marketing teams.  An ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure execution of strategic business objectives and help enable sustainable growth of the Compression portfolio within our Specialty Products business unit.  

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Providing regional marketing product support including but not limited to communications, field inquiry resolution, request fulfillment, quality and service excellence
  • Supporting regional forecasting and production alignment to marketing initiatives
  • Interacting effectively and collaboratively with cross functional team, including but not limited to R&D, Logistics, Sourcing, Regulatory, Quality, Sales, Clinical and Finance
  • Demonstrating competitive product knowledge
  • Providing direction for operational resource allocation and investment to drive business objectives
  • Investigating opportunities for continued value integration
  • Understanding and communication of the value our products provide to support business growth
  • Demonstrating financial acumen and logical decision making

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the medical device industry
  • Ability to work independently, using good judgement, initiative and analytic ability to manage short and long-term projects
  • Ability to work as a collaborative team member, exhibiting professionalism, flexibility, adaptability and action oriented
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities
  • Up to 25% travel, domestic and international
