Field Inventory Specialist- German

Job Description
In your role as Field Inventory Specialist, you will play a key part in our data driven inventory management. You will work closely with our Third Party Logistics provider, our distribution center and will be expected to build strong relationships with our commercial organization in the field.

Responsibilities and Tasks

•   Work with 3PL to provide (financial) reporting for key stakeholders and measure key metrics;

•   Design, implement and monitor operational controls

•    Work with commercial organization to proactively monitor and maintain inventory levels at customer accounts;
•    Prepare and support cycle counts, analyze count data and support reconciliation efforts;
•    Support on resolving discrepancies in field inventory and consignment inventory levels and counts;
•    Works on obtaining signed consignment agreements and provide guidelines and policy for consignment strategy;
•    Monitor short term consignment process and improve turn around times and propose process improvements;•  
•    Monitor and identify stagnant, expired or obsolete inventory, provide commercial organization with recommended action and data.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

•   Financial management or reporting exposure in operations
•    3 years’ experience in business, supply chain, customer service role or related field
•    Specific experience with field sales inventory in medical device industry preferred
•    Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Access (vlookups/run pre-built queries)
•    Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems)
•    Fluent in English and preferably German or Dutch
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
•    Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
•    Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, financial acumen, and product knowledge
