Director, Sales Ops Management

Responsible for supporting the Cordis NA organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. This includes sales tools/productivity improvement, customer contract administration, business metrics/analytics, rewards architecture and measurement, consignment and customer and field support. Additionally, the role will have direct sales management oversight for our Core Account Managers.

Key areas of focus:

  • Strategic partner
    • Sales Leadership Participant- owns leadership analytics dashboard
    • Attend Lx Meetings to enable & support LT strategy
    • Cadenced Commercial Insights Analysis – Ingenuity/Innovation involvement
    • Deliver customer, market & business insights
      • Provide agile consulting & capability development to include tools, resources, best practices and standardization across the organization
  • Performance Optimization – collaboration with sales and marketing
    • Drive profitable growth via account planning and strategic initiative support
    • Performance reporting and analytics
      • Generate post sale performance reporting utilizing all Cordis NA specific metrics/data sources
  • Identify tools that develop and drive growth opportunities for the sales team
  • Strategy and deployment of internal initiatives
  • Compensation & Quota execution
    • Act as the business principle in working with corporate comp team in comp strategy, design and deployment
    • Calculate the sales comp based on financials and send to comp admin team for payment
    • Comp performance analytics and dashboards
    • Quota allocation strategy and execution
    • Territory mapping & analysis
  • Process owner:
    • Customer contract savings analysis, generation, execution and compliance in collaboration with Strategic Pricing, Contract life-cycle mgmt COE and Finance
    • Manage functionality of SFDC & data accuracy of Clients, GPO’s, Services, and Sales Hierarchies.   This role is the accountable senior business partner for all SFDC business functions inclusive of Sales, Marketing

  • BS/BA Business or Equivalent
  • 5 -8 years of commercial operations, Analytics, and Leadership experience

  • Analytical & Word Processing Skills:  Must demonstrate advanced command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at the level of building and manipulating financial models and preparing memos and presentations for an executive-level audience
  • Presentation and Communication Skills:  must demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, alternatives, recommendation, and associated economics
  • Resourceful and motivated self-starter
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate across the matrix
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others
