THE POSITION

The Cardio/Endo Account Manager is responsible for both the commercial and clinical activities in the assigned territory related to the Coronary and Peripheral Diseases and their treatment.

More in details, she/he is responsible for the sales turnover of the assigned product, monitoring use/sell – out/ orders, the adoption and use of Cardio/Endo products in the centers she/he follows.

The Cardio/Endo Account Manager focuses on a wide range of complex and technically sophisticated products and with their specific knowledge of products key features and how these compare to competition provide punctual and scientifically sound responses to questions that customers may have on the selection, adoption and use of our devices.

They interact with different clinical stakeholders (vascular surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists and neuroradiologists) to identify their technical and clinical needs based on specific patient’s anatomies and on specific product features.

They interact also with Non clinical stakeholders contributing to the tenders’ technical dialogue and collaborate with Sales Area Manager and the colleagues in order to maximize sales’ efficiency and reinforce Cardinal Health’s brand.

In order to achieve most of the above activities it is crucial that they maximize the attendance in the operating rooms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling on-site trainings and highly specific technical/clinical requests that may derive from the company's participation and winning of hospitals tenders/bids
  • Increase adoption of products in operating theatres, in accordance with marketing plans established by Business Units of the Company
  • Support in the setting and achievement of objectives in Clinical Education and Training, Sales, Account Penetration on the basis of territory/national targets
  • Act in accordance with international standards of corporate policy
  • Interact with agents operating in the area, ensuring the most effective commercial management, training and clinical support of existing and potential customers
  • Visit customers and prospects: Hospitals, polyclinics, private clinics and university health authorities, clinical laboratories, providing technical training and consultancy
  • Use the most appropriate selling techniques, which will broadly provide the greatest benefit to the customer and to the Company, leveraging the cooperation within the areas

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and internal technical training required to acquire and apply specific knowledge.
  • Degree or culture / equivalent experience training more than 6 months to 9 months.
  • Strong communication skills in both Italian and English
  • Holder of a valid Driving License
  • In depth knowledge of most complex and sophisticated products, customers and competition
  • Knowledge of business information systems
  • Knowledge of business sales strategy
